A weekly ride to Rome General Hospital for Federico
Federico needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Federico has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Rome General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Federico can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 33 km each way.
Federico is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
Good luck, Valerio. Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
