A weekly ride to Lyon General Hospital for Antoine

A rota of drivers to Lyon General Hospital would keep Antoine on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Antoine has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Lyon General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Antoine can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 20 km each way. Antoine is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
