A weekly ride to Lucknow General Hospital for Shafiq
Shafiq needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Shafiq has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Lucknow General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Shafiq can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way.
Shafiq is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Asif. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't give up. Greetings from Fresno!
Good luck, Asif. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Sylhet this morning. God bless.
You're not alone, Asif. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Thủ Đức
Sending good thoughts, Asif. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 17 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
