A weekly ride to Lagos General Hospital for Queen
A rota of drivers to Lagos General Hospital would keep Queen on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria1,194 views
Queen has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Lagos General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Queen can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 33 km each way.
Queen is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Kadıköy but we're thinking of you.
So sorry you're going through this, Nneka. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Breda.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 24 people at work.
Keep going, Nneka. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Praying for you, Nneka. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
