A weekly ride to Kathmandu General Hospital for Roshan
Roshan needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Roshan has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Kathmandu General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Roshan can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way.
Roshan is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Kathmandu
- skills
- reliable car, clean driving record

So sorry you're going through this, Suresh. Shared it with a few friends. All the best.
Sending strength, Suresh. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Kathmandu
Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Kathmandu.
