A weekly ride to Jakarta General Hospital for Arief
Could you drive Arief to Jakarta General Hospital on Saturday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.
🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia1,041 views
Arief has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Jakarta General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Arief can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 23 km each way.
Arief is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you for reading my story.
