Rima has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Cairo Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Rima can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way. Rima is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I hope life is good to you.

        • I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Cairo

          • hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Cairo.
