A weekly phone friend for Trung, recovering at home after a long COVID relapse
No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a long COVID relapse, I have been mostly housebound for 10 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like film, travel stories and poetry, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Thank you for reading my story.

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Chicago.
Sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Birmingham.
Hope it all works out. Shared this with my family. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Hồ Chí Minh City
Hope things get better soon, Trung. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. All the best.
