A weekly phone friend for Océane, recovering at home after a long COVID relapse
No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a long COVID relapse, I have been mostly housebound for 6 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like history, chess and quiz shows, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Paris
You're not alone, Océane. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Hanoi
sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Ogbomosho.
Wishing you peace, Océane. Your post was clear and honest. After 23 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything
you're not alone, Océane. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
