A volunteer web designer for The Sycamore Language Café, a small animal rescue in Nairobi
Looking for a front-end developer or designer to build a one-page site for The Sycamore Language Café.
Anywhere in the world1,526 views
The Sycamore Language Café is a small animal rescue in Nairobi that serves about 438 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button.
We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 20-30 hours of work.
Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already.
Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this, Irene. Shared this with my family. After 22 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Thinking of Nairobi
hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Awka.
Hang in there. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. All the best
Praying for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Nairobi.
You're not alone, Irene. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to San Jose so I could bring a meal.
best of luck, Irene. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in San Francisco but we're thinking of you. Greetings from San Francisco
Sending good thoughts, Irene. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Savar but we're thinking of you. Take care
Best of luck, Irene. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Petrópolis.
