A volunteer web designer for The Lotus Language Café, a small seniors' association in Cape Coast

The Lotus Language Café runs on volunteers and has no website; a designer or developer could help us reach more people.

Cape Coast
The Lotus Language Café is a small seniors' association in Cape Coast that serves about 194 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 20-30 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. Thanks for being kind about this.

I live about 19 km from Cape Coast. I can help at the weekend, tell me what you need. Flexible on timing.

  • Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.

    • Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Nagoya but we're thinking of you. Blessings.

      • Best of luck, Theophilus. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

        • Sending love, Theophilus. Looking forward to the next update. It's not much but it's yours.
