The Jacaranda Language Café is a small food pantry in Toronto that serves about 131 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button. We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 15-25 hours of work. Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already. Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless!

    • Good luck, Waylon. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Thinking of Toronto!

      • Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Gdańsk.
