A volunteer web designer for Sycamore Women's Co-op, a small language café in Sandton
A small language café in Sandton needs a simple, accessible website built pro bono.
🇿🇦 South Africa86 views
Sycamore Women's Co-op is a small language café in Sandton that serves about 185 people each year. We've been running on word of mouth and social media, and we need a simple website with information, volunteer sign-up and a donate button.
We have the content, logo and photos ready. We need someone who can design and build it, and show our volunteer how to update it. We'd estimate 10-15 hours of work.
Ideally it should be fast on mobile, accessible, and use inexpensive hosting. We have a domain already.
Please reply with a link to similar work. We can't pay, but we can offer a reference, a public thank-you, and a lot of thanks.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Stay strong, Priya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Heliopolis.
Thinking of you, Priya. More neighborhoods should do this. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
