I have been offered a job as a barista in Johannesburg, starting in November. The job requires a steel-toe work boots, and I can't afford one. I have been unemployed for 3 weeks.
A new or used one is welcome. If you have one sitting unused, That would really help.
I'm a hard worker, with two references available. I can collect the item anywhere within 8 km of Johannesburg.
I'll take great care of it, and I'll return the favor by helping the next person in the same situation.
I can arrange my own transport; please just let me know it's available.
Thanks for being kind about this.

You're not alone. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Johannesburg.
Good luck, Ruan. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
