A stair-climbing aid for Nghĩa: help Nghĩa move freely
Nghĩa needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.
🇻🇳 Vietnam788 views
Nghĩa lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Cầu Giấy Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Nghĩa could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $60
With deep gratitude,
Bảo

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Cầu Giấy!
Thank you. If you're in Cầu Giấy I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.
Good luck, Bảo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless
Thinking of you and your family, Bảo. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
