A stair-climbing aid for Caroline: help Caroline move freely
A stair-climbing aid would give Caroline independence - we're $100 away.
🇹🇿 Tanzania860 views
Caroline lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Dar es Salaam Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Caroline could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
