A spare room for 4 months: Michelle, working in Manila, between homes
After a sudden divorce, Michelle needs a safe, quiet room in Manila for 4 months while getting back on their feet.

After a sudden divorce, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a retail supervisor in Manila and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $35 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have two work references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, Michelle. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless
Thinking of you, Michelle. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
sending love. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Wish I lived closer to Sakai so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
Take care, Michelle. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out
Sending strength. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
Thinking of you, Michelle. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
