A spare room for 4 months: Kamau, working in Kampala, between homes
Looking for a spare room in Kampala for a few months; Kamau can contribute to bills and help around the house.

After my landlord selling the building, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a line cook in Kampala and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $30 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thank you so much.

hope it all works out. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Mumbai.
keep going, Kamau. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
You're not alone, Kamau. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Best of luck, Kamau. Hope you get there. Greetings from Fresno.
So sorry you're going through this, Kamau. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
