A spare room for 4 months: Brooks, working in London, between homes
Looking for a spare room in London for a few months; Brooks can contribute to bills and help around the house.

After a sudden divorce, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a teacher's aide in London and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $145 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have three personal and work references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thanks for being kind about this.

stay strong, Brooks. Shared it with a few friends. After 7 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of London.
Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of London.
Wishing you the best. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Thrissur.
You're not alone, Brooks. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 19 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
