A spare room for 2 months: Nana, working in Kumasi, between homes

After my landlord selling the building, Nana needs a safe, quiet room in Kumasi for 2 months while getting back on their feet.

After my landlord selling the building, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a junior accountant in Kumasi and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing. I'm looking for a spare room for 2 months. I can pay $55 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references. I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Kumasi.

    • Rooting for you, Nana. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
