A solar-powered water pump for the Lotus vacant lot: help our neighbors in Warsaw
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $1,250 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,250.
It will serve about 486 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $1,070
