A skate park for the Maple vacant lot: help our neighbors in Jakarta Selatan
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $600 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 271 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $500
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
