A skate park for Lotus Primary School: help our neighbors in Busan

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,200 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,200. It will serve about 221 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $2,200 goes: • Materials: $1,850 • Permits and inspections: $85 • Safety equipment and signage: $80 • Tools hire and delivery: $185 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
