A skate park for Harmony Park: help our neighbors in Marrakesh
A community-led a skate park at Harmony Park that will serve 110 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 110 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $800 goes:
• Materials: $650
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $85
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
