A skate park for Freedom Primary School: help our neighbors in Mardan

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 576 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $195 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 • Permits and inspections: $40 I hope life is good to you.
