A skate park for Freedom Primary School: help our neighbors in Cali

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $200 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 133 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $200 goes: • Permits and inspections: $40 • Tools hire and delivery: $135 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 Thanks for being kind about this.
