An engineering corps veteran in Cincinnati needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.

I served six years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $4,100.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,100 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,500
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,850
• Transport to appointments: $530
• Essential household items: $220
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Take care, Roman. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Cincinnati.
Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Newport but we're thinking of you.
