An army veteran in Embakasi needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with a back injury.

I served four years in the army and was discharged in 2025 with a back injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $900.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $900 goes:
• Training provider fees: $500
• Housing deposit and first month: $330
• Transport to appointments: $50
• Essential household items: $20
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
Updates from Paul
Thank you all. We're at 16% now ($145). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($305 in total) I made the first payment toward housing deposit and first month. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
