Nathan served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2022 with chronic tinnitus. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place. The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $2,400. Nathan is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $2,400 goes: • Housing deposit and first month: $1,650 • Essential household items: $520 • Transport to appointments: $230 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Olivia
