A service dog for Henry, an infantry veteran in Ibadan
After eight years of service, Henry is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served eight years in the infantry and was discharged in 2024 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $500.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $500 goes:
• Training provider fees: $280
• Housing deposit and first month: $175
• Essential household items: $45
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thank you. If you're in Ibadan I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Ibadan.
