Thomas served fourteen years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with a back injury. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $3,350.
Thomas is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,800
• Training provider fees: $940
• Essential household items: $610
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
