A service dog for Danjuma, a navy veteran in Lagos
After four years of service, Danjuma is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2022 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $350.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $350 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $200
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Essential household items: $95
If you're reading this, thank you.

take care. This could happen to any of us. After 14 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything
