Katharina served six years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a back injury. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $2,750.
Katharina is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Essential household items: $410
• Transport to appointments: $510
• Training provider fees: $1,830
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
Updates from Ben
Small update. $893 so far, I made the first payment toward training provider fees.
Thank you all. We're at 70% now ($1,930). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Gazipur so I could bring a meal. Love from Bang Khen.
