Crystal served twelve years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote comes to $1,550.
Crystal is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $950
• Essential household items: $210
• Transport to appointments: $390
Every share and every dollar helps.
