A service dog for Amelia, an air force veteran in Springfield
After twelve years of service, Amelia is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served twelve years in the air force and was discharged in 2022 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $5,400.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $5,400 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,600
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,850
• Transport to appointments: $390
• Essential household items: $560
With deep gratitude,
Amelia

reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Mysuru donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
