A sensory garden for children with autism for the old Sycamore bus depot: help our neighbors in Mumbai
Volunteers in Mumbai are raising $450 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the old Sycamore bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Sycamore bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 512 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $80

It's all in the list in the story. permits and inspections is the big one at $40, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Happy to explain more.
