A sensory garden for children with autism for the old Freedom bus depot: help our neighbors in Belfast
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $800 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 220 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $400
• Safety equipment and signage: $140
• Permits and inspections: $260
