My wife Joyce has been accepted for treatment at Mukono Transplant Centre in Mukono, starting on Friday in July. We live 599 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Joyce and me. We can contribute $15 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Joyce will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

        • Hope things get better soon. Wishing Joyce a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

          • Sending love. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
