Does anyone drive from Bakersfield to the capital around December? Christopher needs a ride and a way to carry 8 boxes.

I have been offered a job in the capital, starting on Thursday in December. I can't afford the bus and the 8 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means.
