A repair café workshop: a volunteer-led effort in Bandung
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $550 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 439 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
• Materials: $485
