A ramp for Wendy: volunteers and tools needed

Wendy uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Wendy has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Wendy can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Wendy's family will cook lunch for the team. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
