A ramp for Suresh: volunteers and tools needed
Help Suresh regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India550 views
Suresh has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Suresh can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Suresh's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

Wishing you the best. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
