A ramp for Sofia: volunteers and tools needed
Sofia uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Sofia has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Sofia can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Sofia's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

Thinking of you, Vasyl. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
hope things get better soon. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
Stay strong, Vasyl. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Alcalá de Henares this morning. Take care

Thinking of you, Vasyl. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 27 people at work.

Good luck, Vasyl. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
Hang in there. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Peshawar
