A ramp for Rose: volunteers and tools needed
Help Rose regain independence: a simple ramp build.
π΅π Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines1,156 views
Rose has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Rose can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Rose's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Ryan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Minneapolis
wishing you the best. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Dhaka donated after I showed her your page.
Take care, Ryan. Shared this with my family.
