A ramp for Jun: volunteers and tools needed
Help Jun regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇳🇿 Auckland, New Zealand1,341 views
Jun has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Jun can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Jun's family will cook lunch for the team.

Hope this works out for you. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
sending good thoughts, Dong. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Manukau.
Good luck, Dong. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Nagpur this morning.
