A ramp for Ariana: volunteers and tools needed
Help Ariana regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇺🇸 Kentucky, United States452 views
Ariana has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ariana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ariana's family will cook lunch for the team.

Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Jakarta Barat.
sending strength, Zoey. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Phuket.
Praying for you, Zoey. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Austin.
So sorry you're going through this, Zoey. Looking forward to the next update. After 8 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Kasarani.
