A rainwater harvesting system: a volunteer-led effort in Kyiv

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $350 for materials.

Kyiv
For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 248 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $350 goes: • Materials: $250 • Tools hire and delivery: $45 • Permits and inspections: $55 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
