Maxime needs a powered wheelchair that the health system won't fund; the cost is $3,350.

Maxime lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Saint-Denis General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,350.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Maxime could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
