A playground for the old Pioneer bus depot: help our neighbors in Milan
Volunteers in Milan are raising $1,150 for a playground at the old Pioneer bus depot.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,150.
It will serve about 142 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Materials: $750
• Tools hire and delivery: $180
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
