My daughter Everly has been accepted for treatment at Springfield Transplant Centre in Springfield, starting on Thursday in December. We live 463 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Everly and me. We can contribute $125 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Everly will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Glad we found this place.

  • Hope it all works out, Santiago. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Thinking of Springfield.

    • Sending good thoughts. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'll check back for the next update. Take care

      • Hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

        • You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Mumbai.
